Inflammation of the tarsal borders of the eyelids and meibomian glands: Meg's eyes were sore, red, and tender, and her ophthalmologist diagnosed her condition as being tetradenous which affected the dense connective tissue that stiffens the eyelids and the sebaceous glands in the eyelids.
